Friends, finals are over and so summer has officially begun! Yes, it’s summertime and the livin’ is easy.

Don’t miss the Vern’s Halloween blowout - Nightmare at Eckles!

Costumes are required, but don’t worry if you haven’t had time to pull together your fabulous frock. The entire Eckles Auditorium will be turned into a costume room full makeup, masks to decorate, hats, mustaches and lots of fun stuff to make your costume. We’ll even have a photo station so you can take a picture in your fierce new disguise. Once you’re done you can enter the costume contest for bragging rights!

Inside Eckles, there will food and entertainment. We’ll have pizza, soda and tons of candy. You can even roast marshmallows and make s’mores around the indoor campfire.

Here’s the plan:
10:15pm - Watch It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
10:50pm - We start showing The Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror Episodes
11:45pm - The Costume Contest gets underway
Midnight - We show the Midnight Movie you chose! It is a secret, but here are the top three vote-getters:

We at Eckles Library try to be good citizens, but when you are great as we are it is hard not to taunt others.
