Speaker: Professor Zachary Jay Wolfe
Assistant Professor of Writing, University Writing
Prof. Wolfe holds a Law Degree from The George Washington University and a B.A. in Politics from The University of California at Santa Cruz. He practiced Public Interest Law for several years prior to coming to the University Writing Program and developing a course on the theme of “law as a force for social change.” His particular interest in his scholarly research is the relationships among law, protest, and considered social discourse. He still writes for courts from time to time, primarily as Chair of the Amicus Committee of the National Lawyers Guild.
